Loukik Kudarimoti (GÉANT/Dante)
began his full time employment with DANTE in September 2003 after
completing his MSc course in Distributed Systems and Networks at the
University of Kent.
He has been involved mainly in the network performance monitoring area,
with the focus being on designing distributed systems. He was involved in the Perfmonit project and the perfSONAR effort as a GEANT2 Research project member. He has also been an active collaborator in the EGEE (Enabling Grids for E-Science in Europe) project.Jeff Boote (Internet2)
is a Senior Network Software Engineer for the Performance Architectures & Technolgies group at Internet2. In this capacity, Jeff implemented the One-Way Ping (OWAMP), a tool for one-way latency measurement, which is being written as the sample implementation for a protocol draft going through IETF. He also created the Bandwidth Test Controller (BWCTL), a tool for scheduling throughput tests that allows testing in the presence of scarce resources. Jeff is heavily involved in the implementation of the End-to-End piPEs (aka perfSONAR) architecture. He is a contributing member to the Global Grid Forums Network Measurement Working Group and Internet2s Bulk Transport Working Group. Before coming to Internet2 in March of 2002, Jeff worked at the National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR) in the Visualization Lab writing visualization software to translate NCAR research into high-resolution, multi-dimensional animations.

Ph.D. em Ciência da Computação pela University of California, Los Angeles (EUA), 1990; Mestre em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade de São Paulo (USP), 1982; Bacharel em Engenharia Elétrica pela Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (UFPE), 1979. Professor Adjunto da UFPE desde 1983. Foi coordenador do Programa de Pós-graduação em Ciência da Computação da UFPE de 1994 a 1998. Diretor do Conselho Técnico-Científico do Laboratório Nacional de Redes de Computadores (LARC) de 1995 a 1999 e Vice-Diretor deste mesmo Conselho de 1999 a 2003. Foi editor da área de Redes de Comunicações da Revista da Sociedade Brasileira de Telecomunicações, de 1998 a 2001 e autor do livro Rede Digital de Serviços Integrados de Faixa Larga (RDSI-FL), 1994. Foi coordenador de quatro Grupos de Trabalho na área de Qualidade de Serviços e Medições da RNP e do Projeto GigaIQoM (RNP/FUNTTEL), coordenando atualmente a implantação do Serviço Experimental MonIPÊ. É professor, pesquisador e coordenador do Programa de Pós-graduação em Sistemas e Computação da Universidade Salvador e vice-coordenador do Doutorado Multi-institucional em Ciência da Computação, numa parceria entre UFBA, UNIFACS e UEFS.
Hans L. Reyes (Red Clara)
is engineer Mechanic Electric area Telecommunications for the Faculty of Engineering of Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM), at the end of his mayor he got a scholarship from the Dirección General de Servicios de Computo Académico (DGSCA-UNAM) working on the direction of telecommunications, where he also got many trainings for the data networks, later he was contracted like Academic Technician to work on the Network Operation Center of RedUNAM. Since the beginning has participated in the operation of the CUDI network, first like a member of the Network Operations Center and later like person in charge of the CUDI-NOC. Actually he is the supervisor of Network Operation Center of the CLARA network and also he is the coordinator of the measurement team of CLARA.

Ari Frazão (RNP)
é Bacharel em Ciência da Computação pela UFPB e Mestre em Informática pela UFPE. Profissionalemente, atua na área de Redes de Computadores desde 1993 e está à frente da gerência do Centro de Engenharia e Operações do CEO desde o ano de 2001.
