is co-founder of Nevoa Networks, the first Brazilian company to develop storage management and virtualization solutions. His expertise in this area was gained by working in tandem with large-scale, distributed data environments such as the Internet2 Distributed Storage Infrastructure, National Logistical Networking Testbed, Terascale Supernova Initiative, OurGrid, PlanetLab, and Internet Archive projects. His focus is on making storage virtualization technology and its strategic benefits more accessible to competitive businesses. Mr. Hagewood also maintains close ties with research groups in Brazil and abroad, making Nevoa Networks a key player in technology transfer and creating opportunities to showcase Brazilian innovation.
