1.    5G-Range: aims at bringing the Internet to outlying areas, mainly rural zones, using 5G networks.

2.    Atmosphere: the purpose is to create a platform that allows developing and implementing trustworthy and safe applications in cloud computing environments. 
3.    Iguassu: New high-performance computing service for e-Science.
4.    Necos: makes use of parts of virtualized network resources for cloud computing solutions and telecommunication services.
5.    SecureCloud: studies a solution to provide confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the applications that are executed in cloud environments.

6.    Fasten: the project will develop a standardized IoT framework, which is capable of running in an autonomous manner to produce (by additive manufacturing) and deliver customized low-cost products in a quick manner.
7.    GT-SOFTWAY4IoT: Software-defined gateway and fog computing for IoT
8.    OCARIoT: smart childhood Obesity CARing solution using IoT potential 1 developing a customized coaching solution based on IoT, which will guide children to adopt a healthy lifestyle and meals, including in its physical activity routine.
9.    Swamp: uses artificial intelligence to increase the accuracy of water application in the plantation irrigation and to achieve increased productivity, avoiding wastes.
Artificial intelligence
10.    GT-IPÊ Analytics: aims at converting raw monitoring data to generate valuable information for network management.
11.    IA-Agro: develop an open computing platform to facilitate the implementation of applications based on the artificial intelligence of digital service for agribusiness.
12.    eduroamIA: aims at the foresight of critical events in Eduroam service, informing its administrator, at the federation and institutional level, about anomalies related to the user authentication. 
13.    SAMD4IoT: create an external authentication service to IoT devices to reduce vulnerability and identity forgery attacks.
14.    Network Borescope: offers the creation of a prototype tool, in an interactive manner and in an efficient data structure, which uses the AI algorithms of the ML.NET framework to identify standards and foresight from geo-temporal data derived from monitoring the routers in real time.
15.    DEA: aims at developing a system for traffic monitoring and anomaly detection in intelligent environments supported by Artificial Intelligence (AI), generating a network profile and detecting eventual anomalies by a traffic behaviour in non-compliance with the standard provided.
16.    VideoMR: the focus is on assessing and developing Deep Learning (DL) methods to detect inappropriate content in video scenes.
17.    Tele-DIAC: offers the development of an auxiliary application of Artificial Intelligence, from the ophthalmic image processing, in order to obtain the automatic classification between normal patient and patient with cataract, speeding up the decision making of the remote physician.
